What's covered?

Medical expenses

Should you pull a muscle mastering a pose or find yourself the victim of a tropical bug's bite, we can ease the pain by covering your emergency overseas medical expenses, including doctor's appointments, hospital visits, medicine, and more. If your condition is severe we can also cover the cost to bring you home. There's no cover for undeclared pre-existing conditions though, so make sure you declare any conditions now, so everything is zen later.

Cancellation cover

Having to cancel your trip can be disappointing enough, let alone having to lose all those travel costs! Yoga retreats can be a costly investment so thankfully, we provide cover for cancellation fees and lost deposits for a range of unforeseen circumstances that might be mean you can't go on your holidays, including injury and illnesses, natural disasters, bad weather, strikes, riots, and some family emergencies.

What's not covered?

Unattended items

Even in a blissed-out yoga haze, it's essential to keep you eyes on your belongings to ensure they are secure and protected. We would not cover theft if you did not take reasonable care to protect your belongings. Your stuff is important, so look after it.

Reckless behaviour

If you are intentionally putting yourself in harm's way and injure yourself we cannot be expected to cover you for reckless or dangerous behaviour.

Change of mind

Travel insurance exists to cover you for unforeseen situations, so if you have a change of heart about your holiday, we would be unable to cover your cancellation costs should you decide not to go anymore.

Scooter riding without a helmet

You would only be covered to ride a motorbike or scooter if you wearing a helmet and holding the relevant and valid licence for the bike you are riding.
