• What does the Golf Pack cover?

• The Golf Pack add on provides cover for; $2,000 your own golf equipment (golf clubs, golf bag, golf trolley and golf shoes, $1,500 Golf Equipment Hire (golf clubs, golf bag, golf trolley and golf shoes), $500 Golf Green Fees and $250 Hole in One cover.

• Am I covered if I am competing in a golf competition?

• No, you are only covered for ameteur games of golf. 

• Can I add the Golf Pack cover on all Zoom policies?

• No, please note that our Golf Pack is only available under our Comprehensive, Domestic and Frequent Traveller plans.

• My clubs are delayed in transit, can I claim for equpment I hire?

• Sure thing! We will reimburse you for the costs of hiring alternative golf equipment if your own clubs are lost, stolen, damaged; or if your gear is delayed for a period of more than 24 hours.

• Can I really claim for my hole in one?

• Yep you sure can! If you complete a hole in one by driving from the tee and holing out in a single stroke during an organised game involving two or more players, at any 18 hole golf course with a course par score of 65 or above, we will pay you $250! You must provide us with a copy of your score card signed by you and your golfing partner(s) and countersigned by the club professional or secretary.

• Am I covered if my clubs are stolen from my car?

• If your claim arises from golf equipment owned by you being left in a motor vehicle, the most we will pay is $200 for each item, and $1,000 in total for all stolen items. This is only covered during daylight hours and must have been left in a concealed storage compartment of a locked motor vehicle, and forced entry must have been made.

• When are my golf clubs considered unattended?

• We are unable to cover your golf equipment that is being sent unaccompanied or under a freight contract. We also consider your items unsupervised when they are left unattended in a public place; left behind in any hostel, hotel or motel room after you have checked out; left behind in any aircraft, ship, train, tram, taxi or bus; unattended in a motor vehicle, unless it was left in a concealed storage compartment of a locked motor vehicle; or overnight in a motor vehicle, even if it was left in a concealed storage compartment of a locked motor vehicle.

• How can I prove how much my item is worth?

• You will need to provide a receipt or letter of evaluation to prove worth and ownership.

• What if I loose one of a pair?

• Some things are better in pairs! If you lose one item of a pair we will reimburse you for the cost of both, for example a matched or unmatched set of golf clubs, golf bag and buggy.

• What exclusions might affect my claim?

• We do not cover for general deterioration of your belongings or any damage due to cleaning, repair or alteration, or wear & tear. We also do not cover for damage to items while they are in use. Or for items that have been stolen that you do not report to the police within 24 hours.
